Tree Trimmers.
Guys trimming the trees in the back along the alley near the power lines seemed weirded out that I asked them to leave all of the trimmings from my tress. I said I would be composting leaves and sticks and using bigger branches for burn pile and possibly projects. They asked me if I was sure a few times, and the supervisor even came to my door to hear it from me himself.

Yesterday I tried a new edible; I dug up a few pink wood sorrel tubers and boiled them up to gnosh on. Not too bad really, although I probably need to boil them longer to get more of the bitter taste out (the bigger chunks were harder/more bitter). A touch of butter and some salt and pepper and it was good. I believe I will definitely eat a bigger batch of them next time as long as my yard fills...

Projects for the coming weeks;
Make some of my wax firestarters. 1 my ‘old’ way with wax and dryer lint in a paper towel tube, 1 my ‘new’ way and use wax and dryer lint in a pvc tube/mold. Also, vids(s) on doing it.
See if I can make a little ‘greenhouse’ conversion out of a plastic playhouse of my daughter’s.
Weave a little onion basket.
Lay down a new sheet compost patch.

Finals done!!
First semester is in the books, so I can now focus on wasting time around the house on on teh internet!!
