All Growing Up

Just looking to learn and share about growing organically, permaculture and biodynamic gardening. Green living and practices, upcycling and reusing are also big areas of interest, as well as a few fun pictures and jokes.

(also want to add that I am not a vegetarian or vegan, I am a dedicated omnivore. However, I support individual choice and am into a lot of rawvegan diet/recipes/practices)

Questions or Advice: Both needed!!!

Ex-Mother-in-Law

Bought me and my wife two tulips for Valentines Day, already grown and needing to be transplanted. I have no idea what the hell to do with Tulips. In two years, I’ve only read/looked up about edible stuff…………now I gotta figure out where to plant these amongst the garden plants and have found zilch in the way of ‘companion planting’ for them.

Anyone have a suggestion?

  2. fatchance said: Most tulips are unlikely to bloom true in subsequent years. I don’t plant them except as annuals, because I don’t have the energy/means to dig them up in late spring and store them for re-planting in the fall. I use pansies or violas as companions.
